Outside Sales Representatives
As a Building Materials Sales representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to customers while assisting them with their lumber and building material needs. This position requires a strong focus on customer service and sales, ensuring that customers have a positive experience while shopping for their projects.
Duties:
Meeting with new customer prospects and existing customers to build long term, high level strategic relationships.
Provide expert advice on various building materials, lumber types, uses, and applications to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain records of sales leads and customer accounts, while following up timely with customer's needs for their project.
Monitor new products and market conditions to understand a customer's specific need, and what they are trying to fix, accomplish or avoid.
Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers.
Take off experience is preferred.
Skills:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with a diverse range of customers.
Sales experience is required, demonstrating an ability to sell products and meet customer needs effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey product information clearly.
Close attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with lumber types and building materials.
